the rooms were spacious and had modern bathrooms, plus the staff went out of their way to be accommodating. the breakfast was delicious and included homemade toast and fresh orange juice. I also enjoyed the variety of activities available in the surrounding area, like beautiful hikes and cave visits.
The hotel's bed was a bit too firm for my liking.

We spent our Christmas holiday at a lovely hotel, perfectly located for hiking and cave exploring. The room was spacious with lots of character, including original features. We liked the modern and clean bathrooms, and the amazing service during the breakfast was something to look forward to each morning. We also enjoyed the small selection of various drinks and tapas.
The wooden floor was charming but very creaky, and the walls were really thin, making the noise travelling around the hotel almost intolerable. The bed was quite hard, and caused some discomfort during our stay.

We had an amazing New Year's celebration in an old castle converted to a bed and breakfast. the staff was really friendly and accommodating. the room was modern, comfortable and clean. We loved the varied breakfast selection and the fresh orange juice was a plus. the hotel is located in a key location with plenty of things to do in the surroundings - beautiful hikes and caves worth visiting.
That our bed was quite hard and squeaky. the walls were also thin as noise from other rooms could be heard.
